I immediately adored Kerfuffle once she was introduced in MLP’s short film, Rainbow Roadtrip. While we have seen some characters who have accessible needs before, something about his precious pony just really clicked with me. Don’t get me wrong, my disability is nowhere near as much as Kerfuffle’s, but I still felt so happy to see someone that struggled physically with their legs, since my lower back and legs are affected on a daily basis.
 
Besides her physicality, I felt like Kerfuffle and I shared similar behaviors, doubts, and talents. She’s super into fashion and creating new variants of outfits and while I’m not really interested in the newest clothing trends, I love creating costumes and adding to the building of creative world in theatre. We’re both very colorful and bubbly, but I also felt like Kerfuffle has some level of anxiety which shows how much she initially doubts her own skill.
 
This character was only on screen for a total of 10 minutes at most, but she’s left a huge impression on me. I absolutely loved drawing these two together! I think they’d get along pretty well~
