Description

Of course I had to make a Nirik form too, after drawing Sunbeam here as a MLP Kirin. And why not, it is fitting. Sunbeam too has an alternate form although only rarely seen and not nearly as actively aggressive as the Nirik.

Still, not completely to a t to the canon MLP design. I kept the flames a colour more true to his colour scheme of his mane. Sunset colours do match that of flames after all. A bit of experimenting with the flames while trying not to go overboard, still wanting to keep the style simple. I do like the result, mostly.

Just a fun piece all together, like the first version. JUst all out drawing something for myself to show I can still do full digital pieces somewhat consistently in shading and shine style.
The coloured lines were difficult to pic the right tones for, for this one though. By MLP design rules, the darker main colour means the lines should be kept lighter, vs how the lighter colours get darker lines. It might clash a bit with some of the shining and shading. But one of the details I did wanted to stay true to.

Anyways, enjoy an eight legged horse turned Kirin/Nirik!
