Well, it only took me 8 days. I’m quite a slow at drawing images.
 
Anyway, I tried to give G1 Twilight a “modern” G4 look, while still retaining some elements from the original 80’s hand drawn style (like black outlines). I don’t know if I succeeded. I redrew her mane and tail three times from scratch until I was finally even somewhat happy with the results. The scene is lit by an unknown light source directly above them. (Notice how Twilight’s tail bow does not cast any shadows. Spooky.)
 
I realized it’d take me too long to draw everything I originally wanted, so I had to cut out the background (Twilight’s study room), the portal G1 Twilight used to enter this world and the massive piles of books around the couch. Imagine these all are there. _{I admit I did spend a disproportionate amount of time drawing those book covers. They were fun to make.}
