Heya! Alright so, I got a commission here for AutinBrony
 
Ummm… So… I have no idea what the H E C K I was doing with that background, so… I’m really sorry if it’s bad X-X
 
But I hope it’s alright! The scenario was supposed to be these two having a lovely picnic in a forest clearing somewhere, and the wife was sharing some special homeland dishes! The husband is a little less chuffed about her food than she is, however…
 
So I did a little research on traditional African dishes, and I came across a rather unusual one that I thought would be perfect for ponies to eat (Since they’re herbivores it was a little harder to find something without meat in it). It’s called “Mashonzha”, and they’re basically mopane worms that are fried or grilled and served with a mix of peanut or chilli sauce. It’s apparently a very popular street food. I thought that since bugs don’t technically qualify as meat, they were a perfect substitute. This is the bowl that the zebra is holding.
 
I just kind of made up the other dishes that are lying around them XD
