The Rockfarm was always ment to be passed onto Limestone, Maud decided to make her roctorate and move out afterall but even if she had not, Limestone has a deep seeded loyalty for her family and her biggest priority has always been to take care of her sisters and the farm.  
So it was no surprise that Limestone was the last to settle down proper.
 
As the last Pie still remaining on the farm aside from her feeble parents Limestone worked hard every day, occasionally taking in stragglers and having help from outside to keep up the family business.  
It has been tradition and fairly normal for the Pies to take in stray ponies down on their luck, letting them stay on the farm in exchange for helping with work, in the past mostly earth ponies, the only Unicorn to find their little homestead for a long time was Trixie Lulamoon who left once she was ready to get back on her hooves.
 
In a familiar situation and in need of a place, Limestone found herself housing the brothers Flim and Flam.  
Originally the two unicorns tried to con themselves into a cozy BnB but Limestone is the last pony so easily played, and while she did feel a bit odd having two grown stallions in her home, she made sure to put them to work.  
Over time the Brothers grew a bit more comfortable on the farm, learning the ins and out and of course learning more about their host and vice versa.  
Limestone wasn’t completely oblivious that her guests were con-men but she still gave them a chance to help with work and sales, being the first pony to both yell at them and praise them at the first time, they were afterall perfectly capable if they didn’t keep taking shortcuts right before their goals.
 
Still keeping an eye on her sisters Lime visited their weddings/met their partners and felt herself aching for partnership of her own but returning back to the farm she found pep in her step when hunting the brothers back and forth and living day to day life on the farm together.  
Ultimately tho Limestone continued to be stubborn and dense until the brothers went out of their way to make a fancy over the top confession, asking for the mares hoof with streamers and a dance routine.  
After their last time fighting over a mares affection they’d decided that this time they’d prioritze their Lovers feelings and just do their best to live contently alongside her.  
Limestones answer to the fancy show of course was to yell at them to clean up the confetti and streamers.  
After they bowed their heads in shame and cleaned tho they were blessed with quick coy pecks on the cheeks and a quiet but gruff acceptance of their feelings, Lime did quite enjoy their company afterall.

I can just see Limestone yelling at the brothers to use their obvious intelligence for a proper purpose instead of talking old ladies out of their savings, who better two tame a duo of filous then our favorite hardass tsundere ?
