“Letters to Celestia” is a series that takes place in an alternate universe where the ponies never stopped writing friendship reports to Princess Celestia. I always liked the letters as a staple of the series, and while I’m fine with the fact that the show has outgrown them, I think there is some comedic potential to be had with them based on more modern episodes.
 
My big take-away from Molt Down, other than the wings of course, was the intense super fire breath Spike used to defeat the roc with. Makes me wonder if Spike ever gets his fire confused; it’s already been implied that not everything he burns gets sent to Celestia, after all.
