okay so I’m a real big nerd for Shmups (Shoot ‘em ups, think like Gradius or Raiden or 1942 or R-Type or Darius) almost as much as fighting games and I had heard Aphylliate’s Pegasus Arcane song a long time ago, thought it was kind of goofy but still liked it regardless. I gave it some thought and had said “okay what would it look like if a pegasus were to actually make a solo fighter like the Vic Viper?” And I decided they would have to obviously have to utilize a form of storing and using thunderclouds for their main weaponry. I also figured it’d have to be cartoonish as well since it is still ponies so the zappers have big booper circle around them like cartoon ray guns because yes. It’s not the first time I visited this concept, and this still isn’t fully fleshed out, honestly, but I still like the idea of some sort of pony Shmup.
 
I also claim no knowledge of how to actually make a functioning air-craft or anything, I’m just pulling bits and pieces from mindmemorymeats. If I were a person who made games I’d like to make a game of the “Pegasus Arcane” though, it’s a cute little pocket of silly pony AU stuff.
