You see, Pansy prefers to give candy, rather than receive it- and she does this all from the comfort of her home. Her favorite part of the night are when her friends and fellow neighbors come by with their amusing costumes and, with Twilight’s help, she hand’s out as much sugar filled treats as possible. The smiles on their faces brings Pansy more joy than any tricker treating could. Plus, once the night is over, she and Twilight gorge on what’s left over while reading ‘scary’ stories.
Of course, abstaining from tricker treating didn’t keep her from dressing up-not by a long shot. Every year she made her own costume, again, with Twilight’s help, and every year she’d wear it from the time they’d hand out goodies until she was fast asleep in Twilight’s arms right in the middle of ‘Legend of Sleepy Hollow’. As creative as Pansy is, she either dressed up as some sort of bug or flower. Only one year did she deviate from her nature theme- the time when she dressed up as a Princess.
She spent weeks working on perfecting her outfit, inspired by none other than her mother, and when the time came to where, she refused to take it off for a week. Eventually, it reeked so badly of sweat and spaghetti, that Pansy gave in. Still, she has the costume fondly hung in her closet to this day.
