The CMC’s Cutie Marks bothered me for a number of reasons, so I decided to redesign them a bit.
 
While I was tempted to make their Marks fully individual, I decided to keep some of their Canon design. I kept the shield and the ‘symbol within a symbol’ thing, but I made the symbols prominent than the shields, and dropped the colors down to two because the original had six different colors??? What is with these designers and slapping every single color on everything??? Also I tried to work in their original ‘talents’ to the Marks more.
 
Anyway, onto individual designs:
 
Sweetie: I always loved fanmade Marks that gave her a bell, as it’s in her name. Kept the music note, of course. For colors I went with the green of her eyes/magic, and gold.
 
Scootaloo: I was never sure how to work in her scootering talent with fanmade marks, so I kept the symbols they gave her. For her colors I went with the purple of her hair, and also a blue because of a headcanon I have about her having a brother.
 
Applebloom: As her name is Apple’BLOOM’ and her talent was supposed to be creating things, I usually gave her some sort of apple blossom flower. However, I felt like going specifically for the Zap Apple blossoms. The colors reflect that.
