So I was struggling to think of an idea to draw for this that I wanted to draw and had time for. I want to draw more clone troopers, but I have to scour clone wars episodes to find the poses and angles I’m looking for, so that takes time.
 
But then I realized there’s an idea that would take care of two objectives at once. In the process of rewriting the script for the next page of ADoP, I’m having a character make their debut much earlier than I had originally planned, so I have to rush their development now.
 
This is that pony, his name is Edelsten Herz, and he shall be making an appearance in this upcoming page. For being rushed, his design has gone surprisingly well. This sketch is me drawing out the design I had in my head to surprising accuracy. This is insanely close to what I had imagined him looking like.  
Like normally This stuff takes forever, but in the span of two days I’ve settled on this guy’s personality, design, color pallet, and name! That’s like a record for me.
