Something itched in Galaxy’s gut. She knew what it was…she was far too proud to admit it out loud. But to herself? Guilt. It was such a sharp pain. It was like…being sick to your stomach, but it didn’t actually hurt. It was just…bothersome. Annoying. Yes, that’s a good word for it, Galaxy settled in her mind. Annoying. As hard as she tried to shrug off her wife’s words, it didn’t work. Their last conversation had left her…well, more than bothered.
 

 
“W-what?” Galaxy had stuttered, telaying the last words Firefly had said: ‘You took this too far, bitch. Get the fuck out of my house.’
 
Was Firefly kicking her out?
 
“You heard me. Get out.” Firefly spat. Galaxy thought her wife was finished yelling when she ended the sentence with a growl. She knew Firefly better than that. Of course there was more. With everypony Galaxy spoke to, there was always more. Why couldn’t someone be on her side for once? How did everyone side with that…killer?
 
“How could you disown your own child? OUR child?” Firefly had screamed. “I should’ve known better….you and your pathetic drama bullshit. It was always about that wasn’t it?! Why did it always come first, Gal? Why was it more important than your family?! Your children?!” Firefly stopped, suddenly. Galaxy saw her visibly shake.
 
“Why was it more important than me…? We’re a team, here. It’s not just a partnership. I fuck up, we work together. You fuck up, we work together. But this…I am not going to allow this. I am removing you from my home before you ruin the one daughter I still have! Now get the fuck out!”
 
Galaxy had tried to reason with Firefly, but it only caused the changeling mare to break down in a fit of tears, screaming the same two words, until Galaxy was too terrified to stay. “Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out! Get out! Get-”
 
She closed the door behind her gently, surprisingly.
 

 
“I just…”
 
Galaxy snapped out of the memory by hearing a familiar voice. One she was…scared to hear, despite what she might’ve told herself. She heard the soft sound of hooves walking and came down to the conclusion that the pony trotting was pacing. A nervous tick? Galaxy knew who this pony was…and she had no idea she had a nervous tick. She slightly creaked open the door, seeing the figure of her elder daughter. She heard a sigh.
 
“I’m glad I wasn’t disowned. But for all I know I could be next…”
 
Galaxy stepped back. Well…yes. Lunar could be next. But only if she associated herself with that murderer’s family. And she knew her Lunar was too smart for that. She shook her head, walking away. Galaxy knew her daughter. She thought she knew Parasite too, but then she had to go and be a disappointment to her good name. Galaxy was still trying to wrap her head around it.
 
But it fueled her anger as she stomped up to her room. To her surprise, her things were already packed into her suitcase. She hadn’t used that thing in years….she was always happy and content where she was. With her family. But then….no, Parasite ruined that. Not her. Galaxy frowned, walking up to see a note that rested nearly upon the suitcase. She skimmed over it quickly, only one thing catching her eye.
 
“Suspended?!” From the guard? Nopony has the power to do something like that for personal reasons—
 
Wait. Firefly did. Galaxy forgot.
 
Due to her suspension and being kicked out of her home, Galaxy figured she would have to find somewhere else to stay. When she went to check into a hotel to wait out whatever Firefly was going through, she found out her balance had been suspended. She swore the princesses had way too much power. She was the daughter of Princess Twilight and even she didn’t go around suspending ponies’ jobs and bank accounts!
 
Firefly was mad. Galaxy had no access to her money. Wow, she didn’t even want Galaxy to be in the same city as her. That was low, even for Firefly. Because that meant Galaxy had to find somewhere to stay for free.
 
And hopefully, she could.
