Description
I’ve been thinking about creating an updated design for Pinkmane and Andrevus’s son, Drevus. Took a good chunk of my day to come up with a way to fit the Power Glove onto a hooved leg, which is harder than it seems. Even initially i wasn’t fond of the kid looking exactly like a miniaturized version of his father, i dunno it just never sat right with me.Basically, in Equestria videogames are on the mid 80’s level so far, with the NES being the household name unsurprisingly. To Drevus, an idea came in one of the few actually lucid dreams he had. What if he could combine magic and NES technology to create a way to materialize certain spells, attacks and abilities from the video games into reality? And thus “The Power Glove”-s Equestrian equivalent was born. The Power Glove is compatible with the following games and has the following effects.Super Mareio Sisters 1 - Fireballs
The Legend of Epona - Magical Sword
The Legend of Epona 2 - Reflect Spell
Super Mareio Sisters 2 - Materialize throwing Turnips
Mega Mare 1 - Quick Boomerang
Mega Mare 2 - Leaf Shield
Super Mareio Sisters 3 - The Frog Suit (Tanuki Suit / Hammer Suit would be Overpowered.)
Kirby’s Adventure - HammerIn order to activate the ability, each game cartridge has a set code you have to input after powering on the device (Like the Actual power glove.) There’s a hidden cartridge slot on the side of the black “Extended Control Pad” on the top of the glove where you can ‘Slot In’ a game cartridge. Incompatible cartridges that aren’t recognized are immediately rejected, and certain games not listed have vastly handicapped effects because their abilities would be potentially reality-breaking.
