Personality: Friendly, free spirited, and adventurous. She’s always happy to meet new people and likes to experience new things, but because of this she has trouble committing to a place (or pony) for very long. She enjoys games, but can sometimes wind up being overly competitive. Due to a strict upbringing she has some problems with authority.
 
Backstory: Rainy Night was born in Trottingham, the youngest foal of weathermare Violet Gale and Air Marshal Hawker Hurricane of the Equestrian Guard. Rainy had aspirations to be a racer when she was a filly and even dreamed of one day forming her own racing team. Her father wanted her and her older brother to enlist in the Guard to follow in his hoofsteps. Her mother was a little more encouraging, but still tried to steer Rainy towards goals she thought were more attainable. Rain had trouble adhering to the strict regimen her father subjected the household to, but powered through it during her teens. Her older brother, Hawker Typhoon was already a Lieutenant in the Royal Guard by the time she was admitted as a recruit. The pressure proved too much and it was only a few months before she washed out. Assuming her father was going to disown her, she made a pre-emptive strike and struck out on her own. After a year or two of working various jobs she took her savings and decided to go on a grand tour of Equestria. At least as grand a tour one can take on a modest budget. It eventually landed her all the way to Capricorn Reef, though by this time she was virtually broke. It turned out as good a place as any to stay for a while, at least long enough for her to save up and refill her coin purse.
