There is no such thing as a good 80s girls’ cartoon. They just don’t exist.Doesn’t stop me from loving the shows I grew up with. I was born in the mid 80s and grew up with the original My Little Pony cartoons. My sister was born in 1990 grew up with My Little Pony Tales, which was produced in the later years of G1, and I watched that with her.My boyfriend recently got me gen 1 season 1 on DVD, and six episodes in I’ve already lost count of how many times I’ve facepalmed, raged, cracked up laughing, and questioned the editors who let such outrageous errors make it into production. But I still love it.
