So, you may be wondering why Abra-ca-dabra is wearing Trixie’s cape. My answer is this: in a ‘verse I’m creating around my WIP fanfic “Dimensional Tides” (the ‘verse is called the ‘Tidalverse’), Abra-ca-dabra here is Trixie’s mother. When Trixie was a wee filly, she wanted to be a magician like her mother (in this ’verse, Trixie also got her cutie mark while performing on stage with her mother). After Trixie grows older and is ready to leave her home to start her own traveling show, Abra-ca-dabra gives her daughter her cape and hat, which Trixie treasures very much to this very day.
