The photographer had packed up her gear and had left. Applebloom was in the process of hanging the dress she’d been wearing for the photo on the rolling rack when something caught her eye.
“Um, Rarity. What the hay was this doing on the rack with the other outfits?” Lifting the questionable item off the rack with a front hoof she held it up for the fashionista. It was a very small saddle, bridle, and gaiters
“Really? Ya weren’t seriously thinking of having me wear this fer my photo were ya?”
The mare went even more pale than she already was as the filly rocked it back and forth in front of her on its hanger. “Oh no no!” exclaimed the unicorn. “That just happened to be on rack. Let me put that in the back!”
Rarity grabbed the hanger with her levitation and started trotting to the back of the shop when Applebloom remember something Rarity had said earlier.
“Uh Rarity. Didn’t ya say Sweetie had modeled all of these outfits before?”
The mare almost control of the clothes hanger with her levitation. She looked back at the filly. Her face flushed with pale rose blush.
“Oh yes! Every garment except this one! Hee, hee! It’s custom job for a mare.”
The earth pony gave look of disbelief. “Looks too small fer a mare ta wear?”
“Oh! Well! She petite little thing! That’s why I she has me make custom garments for her! She’s a really is a great customer!”
Applebloom looked confused. “I can’t think of any mare in town who’s so small she could—”
“Oh she doesn’t live in Ponyville!” Exclaimed the mare. “She lives in Trottingham! I met her a couple years at a fashion exhibit there. She mails me her measurements and I design based on those! Well! I should put this in the back! I’ll be shipping this out really soon!”
With that Rarity turned and trotted into back of the shop. Applebloom watched her go and then shook her head.
“Grownups are really weird sometimes.” She muttered.
To be continued.
