Now I’m starting to push my facial rig to make more unique expressions other than just wide eyed happiness. It’ll be a while before I can be happy with what the rig will be able to accomplish, but it’s looking pretty good at the moment!I moved the light to shine from behind and from the left to show off the Filmic Blender color management mod I started to use with Blender Cycles. This used to look kind of bad with the default settings. But now… Not too shabby.I might make a collection of renders with different facial expressions the rig is capable of in the future sometime. After all this rigging is done, I’ll start to create other ponies using the main body and head as a base. Most of the work I’ll be applying to other ponies are in their new mane, tail, coat color and cutie mark, eyebrows, eyelashes, and eye shape.
