I was talking about drawing Ice1517’s two OCs, Golden Rose and Charred Smoke. This is the second of the two.
 
Unlike Golden Rose, Charred Smoke is a more tomboyish and she isn’t high class. She makes fireworks for a living. I was told by Ice to make her a bit bigger and buffer so she has a bit more meat on her bones compared to Golden Rose (and other ponies). I was also told to make her mane a bit on the messy side.
 
Things like Cutie Marks, eye details, tattoos, jewelry, and other accessories will be added when I digitally color the piece.
 
Her limbs were rather hard but I managed to pull off something that looked satisfying enough for me. Speaking of, I was debating on whether or not to give her fuzzy fetlocks like how some stallions do but I ultimately didn’t go that route (but if Ice likes that idea, I might incoperate it in the final colored version). Also, her wings were very difficult for me. Wings are so hard to draw. At first, I tried going with a more show-style version of the wings but I ultimately went with the more movie styled wings for two reasons:
