She’s actually a bit older than she looks, and she isn’t usually taken seriously…but she has learned to use that to her advantage to overhear things that older ponies don’t think she can understand. She is very giggly and loves to laugh. (A secret: Ren’s froggy cap is a very good way to hide her messy bedhead!)  
She tells young ponies that the mark on her leg was formed when she got lost in the fog during a thunderstorm, and the clouds ate her~
