Cadence: “Oh, Flurry Heart sweetie, we’re gonna go shopping so you should go get ready.  
Flurry Heart: “Mom, what did I tell you about walking in my room without knocking…”  
“I’m not gonna stop you from what you’re doing or make fun of you, you know.”  
“Yeah but… If we’re going shopping can we go to Hot Topic?”  
“Again? I just bought you that doll and two pins last week.”  
“It’s not a doll it’s an action figure and I’m gonna marry him some day and I need more pins.”  
“I felt that same way when I was your age about marrying a famous singer.”

“Do you know who that ended up being?”  
“No I don’t, please tell me again…”  
“It turned out to be your father, and he was singing to impress me all along.”  
“Wow I haven’t heart that story a dozen times before…”  
“Dear, I’m just trying to say, you never know.”  
“He’s just so cool and hot and I want more piercings.”  
“Maybe for your birthday. Do you think you can smile a little bit while we’re outside, please?”  
“Can I bring my ‘doll’? If so I will.”  
“Deal.”  
“Thanks, mom.”

I got an idea to do more with her, but only as a side effect so I could replicate the back of the CD’s booklet, of which she’s listening to MCR’s Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, and the back of the booklet looks like this and this is my replication of it in full size, while this is the one she’s currently scribbling in like some lovesick teenager, because that’s just what she is.
 
I kept her outfit mainly the same, but I added a couple pins to her shirt so I had an excuse to tag more things. Yes. Also her CD player has stickers on it, because why not. Also I did the back of the CD tray by finding the original image (which was actually hard) crudely slapping a pony muzzle and ears onto it, blurring it badly, and skewing it into place, The result gets the point across, and the blur is so you can’t see how little I tried. Tho still, I spent the most time on the CD case and everything related to it, Flurry Heart herself was pretty easy.
 
And no, she’s still not okay.
