Boss: “Thank you, Ms. Jewel, for offering to make badges for the new Wonderbolt cadets. We don’t know what we’d do without you!”
 
Jewel: “Oh, no problem! ‘Tis my pleasure to lend a helping hoof!”
 
Boss: “Great! The delivery filly should be here shortly to pick them up. Until then, you can organize the packages so they’re ready to go!”
 
Jewel: “Of course, will do!”
 
(The boss leaves; shortly afterwards Storm Strike storms in)
 
Jewel: “Hello! Are you one of the new cadets?”
 
Storm: “Ugh, I wish. Instead I’m stuck as their stupid delivery filly!”
 
Jewel: “Oh, um…I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure it’s not that bad!”
 
Storm: “Not that bad?? I’ve been working my flank off for YEARS to get into the Wonderbolts and I haven’t gotten so much as a promotion! What, am I not good enough for them?” continues ranting
 
Jewel: half-listening as she walks across the room to get packing tape
 
Storm: pacing furiously “…and the WORST part is-” bumps into Jewel
 
Jewel: “Oof!” falls over
 
Storm: catches her
 
Jewel: blushes in her arms
 
Storm: blushing “Uh…sorry about that.”
 
Jewel: “No, no, it’s okay. Thanks for catching me!” laughs
 
Storm: helps Jewel up while staring into her eyes “ahem No probs.”
 
Jewel: “Do be careful when pacing angrily, okay?”
 
Storm: “Y-yeah, whatever…I’ll get the packages.”
 
Jewel: “Wonderful! Storm Strike, is it? Lovely to meet you! I guess we’ll be seeing each other more often since I work here now.”
 
Storm: “Heh, yeah…Jewel!”
 
Jewel: “Very well then. Good luck with your delivery! See you soon!”
 
Storm: “Yep! See ya!”
 
(Jewel and Storm part ways, while not being able to shake the memory of colliding into each other and feeling an unusual warmth in each other’s arms)
