To all fans of Big Mac ships, MarbleMac fans in this case I say. Don’t stop liking the ship if you don’t want to. If you want to make fanart of them? You do it. If you want to write fanfics, you go right ahead and do it. You want to make offspring OCs from them? You go right ahead and fucking do it!
 
Now I bring this up because I was, and still somewhat am, a fan of the “older” pairing of Zutara from ATLA, and I was really unhappy and disappointed when the fans pretty much just up and stopped being fans of it just because it didn’t happen in the show, but this is different than the whole SugarMac thing. They didn’t understand that that was one of the fun things about being in a fandom, you don’t have to stop liking whatever ship or pairing you were a fan of just because it didn’t happen in the show or whatever. And I don’t want that to happen to some of the Big Mac ships.
 
And let’s be honest, the same thing that happened to MarbleMac will mostly likely happen to SugarMac as well. It shows up for a single episode, then is never seen again. But I think we all know what would actually happen with Big Mac in the end.
 
It would be the tag “Big Macintosh gets all the mares” made real, with him having a harem of Sugar Belle, Marble, Fluttershy, and a number of other mares. That’s why they don’t show him any real relationships in the show.
