“Why are you trying so hard? Don’t tell me you’re one of those sheltered types that are desperate for friendship.” Krabby rolled his eyes as the so called princess caught up with them.
“Huh? N… nah! I have tons of friends.” Vanilla stammered out quickly, and Krabby raised an eyebrow. “This Truffle kid is just interesting! Nopony goes tackling the Empress’s family like that!”
Truffle shot Harvest a sharp glare. “That’s true. Nopony does that. Harvest.”
“Eheh.. ah… sorry ‘bout that.” Harvest smiled sheepishly.
“Though, I honestly don’t mind if Vanilla wants to hang out with us.” Truffle grinned at her, and she beamed and ecstatically skipped up to his side in response.
Krabby huffed. “What… really!? Yeah, ok. I guess we’ll just forgive her just like that, it’s not like they pointed guns at your face or anything! Truffle, do you even hear yourself right now?”
“I know, I know, but… well, I’ve started friendships on rockier foundations?” Truffle chuckled weakly, and Krabby facehoofed.
“No! No, I’m pretty sure you haven’t. Making friends with a loner and a space case does not really compare to making friends with a crazy loose cannon princess who travels with armed guards!” Krabby hissed. “Seriously, she leaves a bad taste in my mouth, Truff. We really should avoid her.”
“I’m right here, you know.” Vanilla pouted.
“I’m well aware!” Krabby retorted.
