Filly has always felt connected to nature. She had a fascination with flowers, trees, animals; all the sort. She’s a lot like her mother; polite, thoughtful, and sweet. But like her father, she’s very motivated and focused. Her goal in life is to succeed Fluttershy’s heritage and one day run the family business, Pitter Pat Animal Sanctuary. Filly can be a little too headstrong, and often butts heads with others. Yet she’d dare not keep grudges, and so she goes into a fit of saying sorry too often. She isn’t very confident in herself, and often puts herself down in favor of others.
 
But Filly is still a kid, so she isn’t all vanilla. She enjoys going to the arcade with her father, and loves games in general. Her group of friends are generally good-natured but mischievous ponies, so she gets into her fair share of trouble. But honestly, who can stay mad at that face? Since she gets away with a lot of things, she gets terribly scared when she doesn’t, and starts bumbling like a baby.
 
She is very protective of her friends, and cares for them like a mother. So she’s the “mom friend”, basically. Filly knows practically everything about her friends, and knows what will cheer them up or what troubles them most. Her friends know she’s only trying to help, but have called her out on this behavior. Filly tries not to be so personal now unless it really bothers her.
 
Filly doesn’t know much about her sister’s father, Discord. But she does know he upsets Fluttershy and Floret greatly, so he never comes up. She remembers seeing a Draconequus-like creature in the shadow of the Everfree Forest, but it didn’t look like Discord. But she never forgot the majestic form of it.
 
Despite being like Fluttershy personality wise, she’s closer to her father. She loves listening to the places he goes to as a gem miner, from the outskirts of the Dragon Lands to the heart of Baltimare. Like him, she yearns for adventure, and always pleads to come with him on a trip. He hasn’t yet agreed, for he worries for her safety. She still bugs him constantly about it.
 
Filly tends to stick with small talk towards Fluttershy. Her mother tries to connect with Filly, since Floret is pretty distant, but she takes it as Fluttershy trying to prod into her life. Which in itself is ironic as Filly does the same thing. She tends to argue with Fluttershy the most, but it doesn’t mean she loves her any less.
 
Floret was immediately attached to Filly when she was born. She was so excited to be a big sister, and is very boisterous and fun with her. Filly adores Floret, and the two spend a lot of time together. In particular, they like to make flower crowns, go flying, and explore the Everfree Forest. Filly tells Floret all her troubles instead of their mother.
 
Filly’s closest friends are Zap Apple Jam, Twilight Tracker, and Prisma Blitzer. They all spend a lot of time together, and are very supportive of one another. Filly is the newest member of the group, so she isn’t considered too close by them. But she’s definitely getting there.
