Lockepicke dashes to stay out of sight on the spiral staircase and dives back into the fluffy mass of plushies at the bottom.
“-Order first. I’ll get some spellbreakers in here and then we’ll see the end of this.” Lucian says, stamping angrily along.
“Right, so how long is that going to take?” Hauberk says, taking long strides to keep up with the incensed older stallion.
“Not long. A day or two at most.”
“That can’t be right. There isn’t another town within a days reach of here. Where could they possibly be coming from?” Hauberk responds.
“The Order takes the threat of demon incursion very seriously.” Lucian says, not really answering the younger stallions question.
After they pass Lockepicke walks back up the stairs. Face on the Wall looks concerned as they match eyes, but when he realizes who it is he smiles.
“Oh! There you are. Did you get lost along the way? You missed the other two.” Face on the Wall says, and then frowning says, “Or, perhaps it’s a better thing that you didn’t see them. They weren’t very nice people.”
What does Lockepicke do?
