Yay! I got the iPad back! But man did I have little time to work on my art today. I sketched it out this morning and was out biking a lot with my dad, and got to see a lovely concert in the park with my family, but the whole time I was listening and enjoying myself, in the back of my mind I kept thinking, “I can’t wait to get back to my picture!”
 
I tried some different techniques in layering, shading, and building up the background, all in IbisPaint.  
Inspired by a shot from the MLP episode “Brotherhooves Social”. (notice that Applebloom is sans Cutiemark, because this was still pre-“Crusaders of the Lost Mark”. Hard to believe, eh?)
