So I used to watch MLP a lot, and then I kinda stopped. Nothing made me stop, nothing drove me away. I just kinda left because it wasn’t holding me anymore and also I had a lot of other things to do. I consider myself a retired “brony”, but I still have a soft spot for the franchise. I found out recently that Friendship is Magic is still going though, it’s about to go to an 8th season. And I found this out from the guy who draws the current run of Pony tie in comics, Tony Fleecs. So when I was at Amazing Hawaii Comic Con this year, I got to meet him, and I bought a comic from him that had the deal of “buy the comic, I’ll do a sketch for you. And then I decided to doodle up a little something to embrace my thawing of love to the franchise. And then just as the comic goes, I immediately reconsidered going back. Who knows, maybe I’ll go binge it at the end of the year or something.
