“Flurry!” Shining Star protested. “Do we have to do this? I have homework to do!”
 
“Yes, Star, and it can wait,” Flurry assured him. “It’s Nightmare Night! Don’t you want to see everypony’s costumes and get some candy?”
 
Star grumbled. “I don’t even like candy…”
 
Flurry cleared her throat, trying to come up with something else to pique his interest. “Maybe you can show off some of your spells? You can pretend to be Harry Trotter for the night!”
 
Star paused, suddenly intrigued by this idea. “I could…”
 
”Wonderful! I’ll be Starswirl the Bearded and we can be wizards together!” Flurry grinned and led her student along. “Onward!”
