Comments: Remember in that one story with Player and her Guitar of Plenty how there was this scene and you were like “wait, who IS that little guy?”

It was Egbert. That was issue #163, by the way. I’ve said it before, the MLP comic had a surprising devotion to continuity and recurring characters.

Comic № 43 “Easter Time in Ponyland” was published 23 April 1987. Date of (Western calendar) Easter Sunday that year: 19th April. Nowhere near St Patrick’s Day. Go figure.

Also, Firefly and Medley spending time together. This ship needs a name: what about “FlyMed”?
