BACKSTORY
Lockheart doesn’t have any memories from before living in Sunny Smiles Orphanage. Although she is an orphan, Lockie has never felt underprivileged or unloved. While living there she formed close friendships with many of the other foals and developed a love and respect for the caretakers. Because of this, she felt conflicted about adoption. Whenever ponies looking to adopt came to visit she would put on an act of an unruly wild child so as to make herself look unpleasant. Despite her girly looks, Lockie is very rough and tumble outdoorsy pony. She does however have a liking for cute things (e.g bows). She is happy with her life in the orphanage but is saddened when her friends are adopted or are old enough to move away.
FUTURE
Later in life Lockie will only have a three close friend from the orphanage who she considers family. They will decide to move away to the big city to try and make something of themselves. Life will seem rough to begin with, but Lockie will soon discover that she has a talent for capturing ponies hearts when she auditions for a photo shoot. She will begin a career in modeling and show off some of the best and most expensive brands. Her ambitious personality insures her place of one of Equestrias top models, but no matter how busy she is she will always make time for her ‘family’.
EXTRA
She is tall and skinny (the height chart is meant to represent show accurate ponies)
I loves the fetlocks in the original picture so I left them in.
About the backstory and cutiemark on the ref sheet… Lockheart is a filly and will probably always be drawn as one, but I wanted to give her a full like story anyway. As for the cute mark, the reason she does not have it is because its something she gets a little later in life (also I had spare room on the reference sheet and wanted to add something there)
