And that’s it for the first week of #inktober, coming full circle with Marble ‘Inkie’ Pie, the pony I drew on day one. I’m really enjoying the daily challenge of completing some kind of line drawing every day, even if the quality of the output is a bit inconsistent (and it’s not proper ink drawing, but maybe in future…) It’s really helping show where my art is currently at and what I can and can’t do and how much practice I need, and it’s a big change from giving myself unlimited time to fluff around with a drawing until I’m happy with it and then not drawing anything for a long time so I end up with like three drawings a year… I’m excited to see what I get out of doing this for three and a bit more weeks
