The good news: I can finally use lighting to make things look like they have dimension and depth.
 
The bad news: My gosh is it messy though! The focus is all over the place!
 
The better I get, the more I see the flaws in my art.
 
That said, if someone who actually knows how to handle shading and light wants to tell me exactly what I need to do to get better, I’m all ears.
