Cherry closed her eyes and readied herself before entering the room to see Prince Noctis with his reading glasses on, and with a book of Star Spells. She makes sure she has a steady hold of the coffee platter then announces herself.

“Hi er- Prince Noctis, I brou-ought your coffee for you” She struggles not to yell out of nervousness as he does look intimidating and smiles, while Noctis takes off his spectacles.

“Ah your the new maid uhh, Cherry Blossom wasn’t it?” His voice was low yet not too low and the mention of her name made her blush, “I do hope you will enjoy your new job, some ponies prefer not to work with being being ‘The Prince of Shadows’ and all” he chuckles at the false rumours while placing the book down and standing up. “Hmm milk, sugar and did you forget the biscuits?” he smirks teasing the mare before she realises.

“Oh goodness I-I am so sorry I-I th-ought I had them sorry Prince!” She stutters out of embarrassment and if he’d do anything, she places it down but magic holds it back up again.

“Don’t be ridiculous I’m just joking around with you and all, you don’t have to act so nervous around me Cherry it’s not as if I’ll do anything I think you’ll find that I’m quite inviting~” he gives a closed eye smile which thankfully relaxes Cherry a bit and also make her blush more. She moves backwards ready to leave.

“Well I should leave you be, just call if you require me your highness” Cherry was about out the door but called back by Noctis.

“You don’t have to leave so early, sit and chat a bit I haven’t any duties tonight and my mother is taking her shift so it’d be nice to have sompony to talk to” He sits again gesturing to the large pillow next to him and starts fixing his coffee.

“What I couldn’t, I’m just the maid” she smiles awkwardly quite puzzled at why he wanted her to stay.

“It’s no bother at all just sit and take the rest of the night off” Noctis says while sipping his coffee. “If you say so” Cherry smiles and sits getting comfortable and looks at the prince trying not to blush too much.
