Description

Sure, Majesty’s power of transformation over dissatisfied petitioners’ entire freakin’ lives is terrifying, but even she needs to pay her respects to the King-under-the-Sea.

You begin to realize that her kindness towards Hermit the Crab is one half of a delicate exchange, and part of a long campaign of careful diplomatic flattery. It works out well for all the parties involved because Majesty is actually good, as well as mindbendingly skilled at her job.

Story Title: The Message in a Bottle
Comments: Once in a while the artists would get confused about the kind of pony they were dealing with … as seen here with alicorn Skydancer.
I love the watery swirls in the illustration on the first page.
