A bit of an insomniac, Roya Eclipse is a mare hailing from the lands of the Alicorns, much like Aurora Veil and her sister Stellar Breeze. Born as a Unicorn, and earned her wings when she got her Cutie Mark, as all do in her home lands.
 
Her talent pertains to relaxation and sleep. She has a gift for soothing ponies into sweet slumbers, and puts herself before others when it comes to sleep. This is the reason she is seen with dark circles under her eyes and always looks tired. She can get even the rowdiest of fillies and colts to bed, but it takes time and she does her best to make sure they’re sound asleep before leaving.
 
While she does appear tired most of the time, she’s actually a pretty happy pony. Not Pinkie Pie happy, mind you, but just generally a bright pony to be around. She’s optimistic and kind, though not very outgoing. But, when she’s tired, she can be sarcastic and a bit grumpy.
 
Roya runs a therapy shop in her home town and sells incenses, scented candles, water features, and even bath bombs. Her shop focuses around relaxing scents and sounds, and she even has a water feature in her room she runs when she’s home.
 
For a pony who loves sleep, she does drink a good amount of coffee, and her friends have warned it may only add to her insomnia. That hasn’t exactly stopped her from having a cup of coffee (or three) in the mornings to wake herself up.
 
Another thing she loves is socks. Pastel socks to be exact. Pink and blue striped ones. She wears them around the house from time to time, they’re just so darn cozy. (That and she will admit she looks pretty cute in them)
 
She also has a pet chinchilla she nicknamed “Fluffles”, but has a fun time calling them “kerfluffles”.
