Silver Lining: Where’s the animals?
The blue filly blurted out, completely oblivious to the two mares conversation.
Rainbow was just about to tell her daugther to wait but Fluttershy was quicker to respond.
Fluttershy: They are all out in the backyard dear. Bumble is out there too if you two want to play.
The kind yellow mare said with a small yet loving smile.
Silver however contemplated staying inside for a short while. She didn’t particularly care about the younger colt and quite frankly she thought he was just plain childish and annoying. Thinking herself way to old and cool to hang out with little kids. Yet she didn’t want to sit in here and be bored while her mom just talked for hours so she ultimately stepped outside.
Birds and small rodents of different kinds where absolutely everywhere and in the middle of the yard, sitting with his back towards her, was the orange little colt. Silver tried to simply step around him, hoping he wouldn’t notice her, but as soon as she took the first three steps he quickly turned around and started walking towards her.
‘Oh crap!’ She thought as he was getting closer.
She could probably fly away and try and hide on a cloud or something, but her mom had recently told her about how he was learning how to fly so it might not have even worked. Disgruntled she decided to stay put and just try and ignore him, hopefully he would just go away.
Unfortunately that wasn’t the case as he decided to sit down as close to her as possible.
The litle colt looked down on the ground then up on her, then down on the ground again. It was like he wanted to say something but couldn’t remember what.
Silver rolled her eyes and snorted
Silver Lining: Look, I’m not going to play with you, you’re way to small!
She didn’t look at him, instead she just heard him mumble something as an answer. Sighing she then shot him a quick glance and immediatly whished she hadn’t.
Bumblebee: Do you want to hold her?
He said in a small voice, acting like he hadn’t heard Silver earlier. His face was a crimson red and he hid his eyes behind his bangs. Infront of her he held up a small green frog who croaked disinterestedly.
Silver threw herself backwards and her feathers ruffled up in surprise and disgust.
Silver Lining: Euwww!
She shouted before hitting the ground.
Silver Lining: I’m going back inside!
She stood up and quickly dashed towards the backdoor of the cottage, away from the slimy amphibian.
Leaving the poor colt in the backyard, gently hugging the little frog.
