As Willow Wisp supervises the preparations for the controlled burn, she spots a familiar pony helping the trench team.

On a meta note, the reason the staging is a bit weird so far in this chapter is that I was consciously refusing to draw cutie marks for any NPC the GM didn’t give me a design for. You may notice it a bit more as I go on. I didn’t care what silly lengths I’d have to go to to keep it up.
