Not much to say as far as backstory goes, he’s just a brash, hard-headed gryphon who made babies with a pegasus. He grew up in Griffonstone, moreso up in the “mountains” which contributed to his thick fur and strong, overly large wings thanks to heavy wind. He was athletic in his prime, and pressured his first set of kids (Frozen Soul, Silver Lining, and Jayfeather) into doing the same by way of joining the Wonderbolts. Only his son Jayfeather showed any promise, and eventually became a celebrity in his own right, having gotten the majority of his genes from his father, especially his wing strength.
