Emerald says that they should explore. They can study an ol’ time. Plus, it’s not like they know where Joyride is. Not that he couldn’t send a letter in order to find her but at the moment it isn’t all that important at the moment. He’s kind of hoping he’ll find a shower or a washbasin or something to clean up.
 
Emerald and Ruby walk among the tents and shacks. The people sitting in the dwellings avoid the foals gaze, while the ones wandering the tents are rushing too and fro on whatever business they are seeing too. Luckily there doesn’t appear to be any injured people out here, at least none that aren’t patched up and conscious.
 
Emerald asks Ruby what she thinks of Hope.
 
“She’s great! She seems so kind and caring…” Ruby says with a big smile, “Can I come with you when you go to see her later? I want to hang out more!”
 
Oh, Emerald hadn’t thought of that…
