Toast and sandwiches are the primary dishes served by the waiters, who are exclusively stallions because they need to handle and swerve hundreds of plates towards hungry guests in the breakfast period. In fact, this is what gives the Dairy a reputation: almost all dishes are served in a minute and the waiters will berate you if you hesitate in your order.
Spindle: That happened to me, actually. He was staring right through my body and wondering aloud what kind of creature I was; I froze his mouth and continued with my meal.
Parcly: [chuckles] Afterwards we packed our luggage, including all the things we had amassed during our stay, and flew west to the Lantau airport. As I looked down I remembered the landscape very few ponies get to see: open waters at the horizon, train tracks all on their own or with bridges under construction, grasses at the shore.
Perhaps the true beauty of Hong Kong lies at this periphery, the hidden exterior where contact with the world at large is established. Small cities that govern themselves, including Singapore and Hong Kong, must keep this cosmopolitan pulse flowing in and out to stay relevant. The majority of visitors here come from mainland China (some arrive only for the luxury!) but all other lands are welcome.
