Description
You leave Loom and begin looking for new friends before you are stopped by Max and your Master.You are told that you are being taken to a blacksmith to get some equipment made for you. You are loaded into the cart and Max gives you a little smile as he locks it shut, his smile fades into a somber look as he turns away from you.
During the cart trip Max speaks up. “Mister Patwrite?”
“Yes?”
“I was talking To our gladiator and she does have some good reasons for asking us to buy the pegasus.”
“Maximilian my wife would castrate me if I bought another slave right now. Besides, keeping a pegasus would require some extra precautions like an enchanted collar and a large cage… I just don’t have the time Max.”
“Our little gladiator Sunny Days said something about pegasus being able to control weather, Couldn’t you explain that to Marigold?”
“Maximilian, I’m going to honest with you. Marigold wants me to shut down the vineyard. I explained that you and the slave would have nowhere to go but… I think she may be right about it. Hopefully we have a good batch this next season,perhaps that will change her mind about how much time I spend out there.”
You arrive at a dingy looking building that smells of smoke and Max lets you out of the cart. you are lead inside where an old yellow stallion is working on something. You master shouts out, “Mister Slag!”
The Yellow unicorn responds “Alexander! Oh my, who is this little earth filly?”
“She’s my newest fighter, trust me, she is a lot more cunning in battle than she appears.”
“Ah of course.” The yellow stallion turns to you. “So little one, What kind of weapon do you think you can handle… and for that matter how much weight do you want in your armor? Alexander told me that he let you use his old helmet so I should tell you that any more armor will make you a lot slower and I don’t think a pony in your position can come back if you change your mind so easily…”
