Emerald lies and says that he is going to help Joyride get some potion ingredients, but that he isn’t sure where the two of them were going to go.
 
“Ah, sounds like Joyride.” Whole Wheat says rolling her eyes, “Always keepin’ the important stuff close to her chest, but so upfront and honest about… Well, that’s not for lil’ colts to know! I guess I’ll just pack up the usual.”
 
The mare steps out from behind the counter and walks to the side of the store with preserved goods. Lot’s of nuts and dried fruits, small hay bundles, as well as flour and other sundries.
 
“Hopefully wherever you guys go you’ll be able to get some fresher things than this. I’ll of course put some apples and pastries in here, but they won’t last long so make them count!” She says, looking over to Emerald and smiling.
 
Emerald smiles back, but says nothing.
 
“So how long have you known Joyride? She’s never mentioned a colt your age before. Are you family?” The shop owner says, still gathering stuff.
 
Whole Wheat seems a bit more vocal than the previous shopkeep you met.
