CUTIE MARK STORY

When she was 18, she was diagnosed with ASD, bipolar 2 with psychotic features and generalized anxiety disorder. It was during that week that she also got her cutie mark.

During an art therapy session, Puzzling drew a hauntingly beautiful landscape. The therapist was impressed with her explanation and showed the drawing to the other patients, orderlies and doctors. As she was overwhelmed with comments about how she had made them see the world through her eyes, a dazzling light caught her eye. She had heard about how cutie marks appear, but she’d never expected to get hers, especially over a drawing.

Now she uses her special talent to help others see things differently and even find effective solutions to problems when creatures without perception magic are unable to.

BACKSTORY

Puzzling Insanity was born to Heart Guardian, a social worker, and Green Beret, former trot Sgt in the Equestrian Army in the Southeast Neighsia conflict.

Growing up, she was very socially awkward and naive. She didn’t have many friends, her only real friend being a unicorn filly named True Image. In her junior year she went to a vocational school and took a two-year program, successfully becoming a certified graphic designer.

At the age of 19, she decided to search for a job, but was unsuccessful. That December she was approached by a stallion from Las Pegasus about joining the adult entertainment industry. She agreed, setting up a page on ClopHub. Over the next year, she began to undergo a transformation: she was blossoming into a masochist with a voracious sexual appetite.

For a while, she felt better about her place in the world. Then on Nightmare Night in 2018, Green Beret suffered a heart attack in front of her and went brain dead. She didn’t go to the hospital to say her goodbyes when they took him off life support the next day. She was too heartbroken. Heart Guardian later told her that Green Beret went quickly in an attempt to comfort her. Puzzling just shut down and retreated to her room.

For a while, she struggled with the loss of her father. Eventually, she put her feelings onto paper, creating poetry and drawing her darkest thoughts. She saw this as a catharsis.

Anycreature who knows her now will tell you that she’s weird, but that’s what they like about her.
