Emerald feels kinda happy that Ruby misses him enough to cry. When he sees her again he is going to give her a big hug. Or maybe tease her. That seems like a good idea too.
 
The colt gets up and starts to look around for Gregarious.
 
He checks in the nearby office, and then the one near the front of the church. Not finding him there he heads to the back near the stairwell downwards. Despite the fact that he knows no one means harm to him, it’s still rather creepy to come into the room with all the gravestones and the coffin.
 
Emerald knocks carefully on the coffin lid, and a few seconds later the desiccated head of Gregarious pushes the coffin aside slightly and peeks through. After a good morning, Emerald asks if he could have any food.
 
“Of course my child, please feel free to take anything from the farm. The farmhouse also has a small stove, so you can try to cook it if you like. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me!” The zombie says, chuckling as he fixes the lid back into place.
 
Emerald heads out of the church door, and makes a right towards the farm. He plucks a few ears of the shriveled corn and brings them into the slightly shack-like farm house. Finding an oven and some nearby matches, Emerald starts a fire and goes to gather some water from the well, taking a few drinks as he lowers and raises the bucket.
 
As he boils the corn, Emerald thinks on what he’ll do today. he could practice magic more, or perhaps try to get more magic out of Sepulcher. He didn’t think of it before, but maybe Sepulcher knows something about the amulet. Might be a good idea to ask. He also remembers the lich lord mentioning something about a library. Hopefully it’s not the one in church, since it was rather small.
