Emerald excuses himself, claiming to have to use the bathroom, and as soon as he is out of eyesight of Stargazer he bolts.
 
Emerald heads NORTH, towards what you he hopes is Trotton.
 
He comes to find that Stargazer was certainly lying to him, as it takes quite a bit of time to come to what he thinks is the town. It’s what he thinks is the town because if it is the town, there isn’t much of it left.
 
It looks like there was a landslide here, and all that seems to be left of the houses are split wood beams, collapsed roofs, cracked tiles, and piles of dirt and rocks.
