Back-Story: Gloomy was born as an earth pony with rainbow eyes, she couldn’t care less for the color. What Gloomy really wanted to do was magic, but she couldn’t since she was only an earth pony. With that, she went out searching for unicorn ponies that were blind. Finally after weeks of searching found a pony that would make the trade. Her horn for Gloomy’s eyes. A standing by unicorn did the switch. Gloomy fully now blind can finally do what she wanted to do, at least that was what she thought. Since she could no longer see, she couldn’t read books on magic. Thus she began to cry after realizing it. The pony who gave Gloomy her horn, gave the filly pity and decided to teach her everything she knew about magic and coping with being blind. She told Gloomy her name was Wizelle and taught the filly how to plenty of magic. Gloomy took much interest in creating things from scratch with her magic, so Wizelle put more time into teaching her that specific branch of magic. After years of training with Wizelle, Gloomy had learned everything Wizelle knew and had to learn on her own. Since of that she made way to the ever so popular Ponyville, where they had the most in depth library.
