Nova is an unusual mare. Her special talent is the ability to manipulate atomic structure within a small area. This allows her to do a multitude of different things, though most of which can be too dangerous to try. Usually, she uses this power to re-shape items into more useful forms, though due to her profession as a surgeon, she can use it to mend wounds quickly. Her magic requires an insane amount of concentration, and anything that breaks it will end her control over whatever she’s working on.
 
Nova is Clockwork’s only true friend, and companion in everything he does. And despite her magic making her the best candidate for testing on, Clockwork refrains, simply because he knows he’d be unable to continue without her aid. She is also the only one he actually cares for, and this ends up saving her from his diabolical plans. The unfortunate thing about it though, is that Nova doesn’t want to be a part of Clockwork’s insane plans, but because of how dangerous he is, she has little choice but to go along with him. She knows better than to cross him, because even she isn’t entirely safe from his wrath if she gets in his way. For this reason, Nova ends up being just as dangerous as her counterpart in crime. Regardless of her true nature, she is just as much a part of Clockwork’s plans as he is.
