I find it interesting that Starswirl is given a weird sort of pass from the fandom. We’ve made Pinkie Pie into a cannibal, Rarity into the Marquis de Sade, Celestia into Caligula, Spike into an egomaniacal tyrant, and Rainbow Dash into Shishio. But from all accounts Starswirl is wonderful and picture perfect and NOT TO BE TOUCHED.
 
It’d be interesting to see him from a Warts and All perspective, is all.
