That morning, Octavia and Vinyl decided to go for a walk. The grey mare’s midsection had grown just the smallest bit. Somepony wouldn’t notice it unless they were told about it. Which was good, because it was around this time that the poor dear was getting mood-swings, and was having cravings. Earlier, she had thrown one of Vinyl’s Vinyls at Ivory, and shouted at him to get ice cream. She felt horrible about it later, and asked to go on a walk with her sister. The pair had been walking, and Octavia needed a rest. They took a seat on the bench, Octavia resting on her belly. Vinyl sitting upright.
The mother-to-be got the sniffles, and snuggled next to her best friend and began to sob for no reason.
“Oh, Vinyl! I’m such a stupid mare!” She wailed.
Vinyl looked back and forth, and awkwardly placed a comforting hoof around her best friend.
“There. There.”
“This baby was a bad idea!”
Vinyl gasped, and looked right in her friend’s eyes.
“Don’t you say that, Mrs. Notes! You want this kid more than anything, are you seriously gonna let some weird hormone-thingy get you down?
Octavia wiped her runny nose in thought. She looked up at her beloved friend, and shook her head.
“Of course not.”
“Cool.” Vinyl said with a smile, leaning back on the bench.
“Hey, Vinyl.”
“Yeah?”
“I want some cheese.”
