Description

Sketch and Silky.

I am so sorry this took really long to create. I promised to make this one, maybe two months back in a week? Talk about overconfidence. I guess that’s a reason I hate myself sometimes. A lot of academic work and other projects interfered. There was also a rendition of this I previously made that I didn’t like, so I revamped it.

I also apologize if this entire description slows your computer down.

Moving on now. This drawing features not only Silky Thread from an NSFW from a different piece, but the boy she felt emotionally attached to since middle school. His name is Sketch.

Sketch overall a calm and relaxed unicorn. Most of the time, he either looks exhausted, as if boredom has overcame him, or his expression is entirely blank. The only way to make him smile or show some semblance of emotion is to do something he finds hilarious. It’s not difficult to do. He has a broad sense of humor, so a ridiculous joke or absurd action can make him burst out into laughter, and it will persist in his mind until it becomes dull. Another situation in which someone could make him show emotion is their personality. Think of it like this: Sketch’s emotions are like a lightbulb. Usually when he’s alone, he looks like his tired self, but when somebody he really knows decides to talk him, a small grin, a frown, a scowl, or something else appears on his face depending on who it he speaks with.

Sketch’s personal philosophy is to always present a positive attitude to everypony else and uses right judgement, despite whatever atrocious act they commit. With this, he is usually really nice to others. Bullies are an exception, where a hint of annoyance can be traced in his voice. Some appreciate the way he acts, whereas others think it is a tad annoying that he never seems to get angry. Though on certain occasions, he can become really insulted and unload his anger onto the offender. He appears to be positive and happy on the outside, but deep down in his conscience, he does not feel the same way. Some life experiences and the things that go on around him in school contribute to a depression that brews inside him. He has been exhibiting early signs of mania, though he hasn’t actually heeded the warnings yet. He sometimes chooses to isolate himself in his room or other uninhabited areas for some “me-time.” It looks like he is in repose, but he actually contemplates things, ranging from his personal life to recent events. It is at this moment he feels genuine sadness, though he doesn’t show it. He says he wants to be alone, but spending time with somebody else replenishes his happiness.

Since Sketch is does not spend the majority of time with others, he is socially awkward and naive. Unless he is fully acquainted with somepony else, he does not speak that much. He breaks into fully-fledged conversations with close friends. If he’s speaking with somepony of his desires, he acts more awkward than he usually does, accented with a few stutters and a slight blush, but he is able to overcome it within few minutes into the conversation. He gets humiliated rather easily, so it doesn’t matter whether it happens to himself or someone else, if the simplest thing is done to humiliate him, his face shifts to a bright crimson in a matter of seconds.

His magic does not function well, but he doesn’t mind. He only needs it for levitating small objects and for practicing a few personal spells. Plus, he dreads that if his magic became powerful enough, he could inflict accidental injury upon somepony else.

Now for this image, a short story.

Friday. It’s been a rough week a school. The end of the school year has approached, and he just completed two finals for each day. Whether he passed them or not was on his mind, but the pressure has been exerted from his system and all he wanted to do was go home and collapse on his bed. Hopefully all that studying was worth it.

He had plans that night with a friend. They were getting ready to go on a vacation to a resort lasting a week, and they needed to prepare.

Later that night, Sketch made it to his friend’s house. To his surprise, three others were coming along too. They gathered the materials to last them for the following week and packed them up into an SUV. They were going to leave that night as the resort was a good distance away, so it was crucial they got done no later than 11:00 PM. As soon as they were finished, they all washed up and relieved themselves one final time before the trek. They continue to load a few personal objects into the car, and Sketch leaned against a wall in the living room awaiting notification for their departure, until Silky passed by him. Now Sketch knew she was his friend’s sister. Though he had no idea she was coming on the trip, let alone awake. She had a magenta duffel bag by her side put it right down. In a flirtatious tone, she asks how he is and acknowledges his exhaustion and his feelings about the finals they took earlier. Sketch, hoping the situation doesn’t get awkward for himself or Silky, he responds by saying they were painful and how he was worried about the grades.

Silky grabbed his hand and took him to her purple-themed to sit on the floor. She said she had a solution to alleviate his stress. Sketch had something in mind, and he really hoped it didn’t turn out to be that. Silky concluded her solution with one word. Tickles. Sketch was confused for a short moment, but then realized she had a childlike attitude. He claimed not to be ticklish in any way, but as if she knew right off the bat, she lunged two hands toward his belly, her fingers gyrating on his coat in such a fashion that made Sketch nearly choke on laughter. While he begged her to stop, she continued and playfully accused him of being a liar.

About a few minutes later, she stopped. Sketch was lying on the floor, panting with a smile on his face. Silky asked him if he felt any better. His response: “I bit, I guess. First time I laughed this week.”
